In September 2023, Vaulderie (Tacoma) headlined the first night of Punx in the Woods somewhere in the forests of Central Washington. Halfway through the set, power to the lights went out during the song "Dreadful Night", but the PA stayed up. Stage crew and audience members lit the stage with flashlights and emulated strobes, and someone brought out a death whistle. The lights came back on almost as if on queue, too. This was one of my favorite moments of any Vaulderie performance so far, and I've been to all but one.
